Catalogue text

Remains of pairs of confronting birds perched on top of a tree. The trees and birds are similar to EA1993.245 and EA1993.246.

The fragment was formerly part of the same fabric as EA1993.245 and EA1993.246. The first has a radiocarbon date of 990 AD +/- 60.
