Head from statue of a priest of Aphrodite, wearing crown with
miniature busts of Aphrodite, Helios and Selene. Added paint is
believed to have served to set off the schematised hair from the face.
The head probably belongs to the statue of a fully dressed standing
male, also found behind the bouleuterion (Aphrodisias Museum inv.
