Polished surface; slightly thickened at the edge; the front modelled in low relief with part of a shimenawa (New Year rope decoration) with fern and other leaves and straws (gold) as pendants; on the back, one pair of fern leaves (continued on the front) and two overlapping tachibana badges (orange with fan of leaves) in gold wire inlay.
