Red jasper; bezel, unbevelled; rectangular. Inscriptions on the front (R) and on the back (V) faces.
R - Two lines of cursive script, both underlined by the return of the loop of yā’ at the end of the two lines; with dots. A date on the left side.
(1) 'I commit my affair to God' (Qur. XL, 47/44) افوض امرى الى الله
(2) His servant Naqd[?] ‘Alī 1121[?]/1709-10 [عبده نقد [؟] على ١١٢١[؟
There are spiral stems, ending in points or short strokes, spreading on the ground. One or two rectangular concentric lines follow the shape of the gem.
V - One ensemble of cursive script (nasta`līq), without dots; a date beneath on the right.
