Catalogue text
A roundel with an interlace knot embroidered in blue outline, and four small red trefoils set between the knot's four points. There are remains of brown embroidery along the rim, too deteriorated to tell the design.
The roundel has a hem around its edge, with a drawstring inside. In: Barnes, Ruth and Marianne Ellis, ‘The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries’, 4 vols, 2001, Oxford, Ashmolean Museum
