On display

Silver ewer, modelled in auricular style, with Andromeda beneath the handle chained to a rock. The handle formed as a sea monster, the lip formed as a grotesque mask. The sides formed as swirling vortices. In the front a relief medallion, within an open mouth, of Perseus flying down to attack the sea monster. The base is flat.
