Athens, Acropolis Museum, inv. 700.
Found in 1887, in a pit east of the Erechtheion on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece.
Small statue of horse with left leg and hand of horseman. Details were added in paint (remains on mane and rider’s foot). The polygonal support under the belly of the horse was part of the original monument.In: Frederiksen, Rune, and R.R.R.
