Mounted nautilus shell drinking cup

Polished nautilus shell, mounted in silver-gilt. On the top is Neptune with his trition, seated astride, on a crayfish. The straps are formed as two female and one male herm figures. At the sides of the mount are two snails. The stem is formed as a naked man, probably Atlas, with a dolphin between his feet. He stands in the sea, populated by more dolphins. The remainder of the surface embossed and chased.
