Handmodelled with surface not smoothed after modelling; baked; coarse fabric; head and rear legs missing; upright mane and short tail (broken at tip); "it has an appliqué bolster of clay passing round the body and over its withers, and on its back traces of an appliqué saddle" (Reade 1968, 249).
