A brown trefoil emerges from two symmetrically placed white leaves; pink stylized leaves with white outlines are arranged around a square containing four brown trefoils. The background is red.
The outlines of the design are irregular and probably drawn by hand. Some parts of the pattern have disintegrated due to the iron content of the mordant. The reverse indicates the use of a resist application prior to mordant dyeing.
