Munich, Glyptothek, inv. 319.
Attested by 1642 in the Barberini Collection in Rome, from where it was acquired in 1814 by Prince Ludwig of Bavaria through the art dealer V. Cammucini.
Expressive and dynamic portrait head in Hellenistic-Republican style. Probably a fictional, heroic portrait of an earlier Republican leader. Late 1st century BC.
