Representing the pine-clad isles of Matsushima in slightly engraved iro-e zōgan inlay, the land in shakudō, the trees in silver with some gold, the flying birds (chidori) in gold; ryōhitsu and seppadai, as in No.1133 [EAX.11133]; narrow shakudō rim soldered in place.
