On display

Oval box, silver, parcel-gilt. Embossed and chased on the hinged lid in high relief with a battle scene. On the base with Perseus and Andromeda. On the sides with trophies of arms, putti and a scrolling cartouche with a letter, perhaps 'D'. The inside of the lid is engraved with a woman in a landscape playing the flute.
