Hanover, Wallmoden Collection, on long-term loan to the Archaeological Institute of the Georg August University in Göttingen.
This fragment from a statue group shows a wrestler, whose head is preserved, trying to remove the left hand of his opponent with his own left hand. 1st century AD, after a work of the Hellenistic period.
