Ornate square shapes, green or light blue with red frames and white centres. Set between the squares are red stars and flowers against a white background.
The reverse shows more dye saturation for the red than the surface. Both blue and green were applied to the surface; the green was probably achieved by overlapping yellow and blue. The dye analysis has shown that the colorant for red was alizarin, the source of which either was Oldenlandia umbellata L., or a synthetic alizarin.
