Spoon

On display

Spoon, silver, parcel-gilt; fig shaped bowl, the stem curving down then turning at a near right angle to join the bowl. The stem engraved with foliate and geometric ornament; the finial cast with a Saint, holding a club (a fuller's bat?) and showing his left leg, perhaps representing St James the Less. One of twelve Apostle spoons with WA2013.1.85.1-12.
