Textile fragment with flowers and cross-hatching

    A square is framed by narrow, red bands with a single row of white diamond shapes. The inside has a backgound of brown quatrefoils, and in the centre are wide, red band filled with white cross-hatching around a square with white and brown chevrons. Large, red, single flowers are printed over the design at wide intervals.

    Two selvedges; 19th century.
