Textile fragment with rosettes in dotted circles, and abstract plants

    Two bands, one with rosettes in beaded circles, and with trefoils in the spandrels, the other with abstract plant shapes and dots; the two are separated by narrow bands, one has a single line of dots, the other two lines of waves. The rosettes and beaded circles are dyed red and brown against a white background, otherwise the pattern is white against a brown or red ground.

    Selvedge, stitching. The bands are at right angles to the selvedge.
