    A portrait painter who graduated from the Guangzhou Academy in 1985. After visiting Australia he emigrated to the USA, where he lives in New York as a professional artist. In 2000 he was commissioned to paint the Millennium portraits of the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, and Princess Anne. In the following year, he had arranged to paint the Queen Mother, but she was ill, and the commission was not carried out.

    Acquired from the artist in 2001.
