Textile fragment imitating bandhani, or tie-dye, with geometric patterns and arrow-shapes

    Small squares with a blue centre, in imitation of bandhani (tie-dye), arranged as geometric designs, one of which is arrow shaped. The wide design has three rows of bandhani shapes on either side and an unbroken white line beyond. The design moves at a right angle to the selvedge. The resist defines the pattern, the background is blue.
