    Rounded oblong; archaistically rough, but highly polished, surface, with hammered-up edge; in low relief a bottle-gourd with leaves; the veinings, stems and a tendril encrusted in gold wire; rough udenuki holes. Signed: Hiromitsu [Japanese text] with kakihan [Figure]. (Aida Hiromitsu, pupil of Ichiriū Tomoyoshi III.)
