Textile fragment with squares, circles, and rosettes

    Two large squares, each with a circle and a rosette inside, as well as a heart-shaped leaf in each corner, as in Cat. no. 723 [EA1990.730]. The background and circle are red, the square and rosette are brown. All outlines are in white. There also is a border band with a brown circle containing a red rosette, identical to Cat. no. 509 [EA1990.516].

    A repair seam with brown stitching holds together two fragments of the same fabric. The reverse is heavily saturated with dye.
