    Interlocking spiral that can also be read as a floral design, as in Cat. no. 288 [EA1990.297]; in addition there is a border with chevrons, as in Cat. no. 296 [EA1990.305].

    The fragment may have been part of Cat. no. 296 [EA1990.305]. It would date to the 13th century in that case.
