Textile fragment with rosettes in dotted frames

    A border band of small, red rosettes with twelve petals, set into a brown, circular, beaded frame, similar to Cat. no. 508 [EA1990.515]. The pattern is printed on a white ground. There is an additional narrow, brown band with white dots arranged as a continuous zigzag. A solid band of red is at the selvedge.

    Selvedge, remains of stitching. The reverse is slightly blurred and shows additional traces of dye.
