Textile fragment with diamond-shapes and quatrefoils

    Diamonds, each with a quatrefoil inside, and faint trace of brown outlines for a band with floral design, as in Cat. no. 498 [EA1990.505]. The diamonds are red against a white background.

    Selvedge. The reverse shows very little dye saturation. Pattern, dye technique, and thread-count make it likely that this fragment belonged to the same fabric as Cat. no. 498 [EA1990.505].
