Details

  • Catalogue text

A vine with curving tendrils, bunches of fruit, and a small palmette, white on a dark red ground. In addition, there is the fragment of a large flower head, with blue details and blue and white dots as a surround, possibly related to the design found in Cat. no. 1122 [EA1990.1129].

Selvedge. The reverse shows slightly more dye saturation for both red and blue.
